AAU_Boys_Basketball Detroit will continue to add to its status as one of the top basketball hotbeds in the nation as some of the best age 10 and under basketball players in the nation descend on Macomb County July 18-23 for the AAU Boys' 10U D1 National Championship.

The tournament follows a long line of major AAU national events that have been staged in Detroit and organized by Detroit Sports including the 2003 and 2008 AAU Junior Olympic Games.

The six day tournament starts off on Sunday night as the teams are welcomed to Macomb County during the opening ceremonies at Sterling Lanes. Teams will then compete in pool-play for the first two days in order to be seeded in the single-elimination championship bracket. Games will be played at Warren Fitzgerald High School, Utica Henry Ford II High School and Utica Eisenhower High School.
