DETROIT SPORTS AND MICHIGAN AAU TO HOST
MAJOR NATIONAL YOUTH BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT IN MACOMB CTY.


DETROIT (July 19, 2010) Detroit Sports and the Michigan AAU District will host more than 500 age-group boy’s basketball players in the 2010 AAU Boy’s Basketball U10 D1 National Championship beginning today through July 23 in Macomb County.

Competition begins today in pool play format with games starting at 9 a.m., followed by additional pool play on Tuesday, July 20.  Games in bracket play format start at 9 am Wednesday, July 21, and continue with further bracket play on Thursday, July 22.  The tournament concludes on Friday, July 23rd, in championship play with games starting at 9 a.m.  All games will take place at Warren Fitzgerald High School (23200 Ryan Road, Warren, MI 48091) and Henry Ford II High School (11911 Clinton River Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48313).

Tickets are age five and under free; age six to 14 - $10 daily / $35 full-week passport tickets; age15 and older $13 daily / $45 passports.  Daily tickets are good for all venues and games on that day. Passport tickets are good for all venues and games on all days.
