Approximately 500 athletes from ages 8 and under thru 22 will compete in different jump rope competitions.
Competitions ranging from single, pairs, double Dutch, and several group routines.

Jump Rope will take place inside Hall C of the Rock Financial Showplace.

Stay at an Official hotel during the AAU Junior Olympic Games for a chance at earning $1,000 towards your travel expenses.
The Detroit local organizing committee will provide five (5) $1,000 cash awards to individuals staying in an Official hotel during the AAU Junior Olympic Games during July 23-August 2, 2008.
Provide a copy of your hotel bill at either registration site (Rock Financial Showplace or Eastern Michigan University) to be eligible.
Recipients will be contacted on Saturday, August 2 nd. *Must be 18 years of age or older and name on hotel bill must match personal identification.
